Castle Group is thrilled to announce the successful completion of the modular element of the Pfizer DS2 Project for PM Group and PJ Hegarty, a major milestone in the Irish life sciences sector. Our fit-out solutions team is continuing to provide fit-out services for this complex project.

Project Scope

The project featured the offsite manufacturing, delivery, and installation  of 13 fully fitted modular data hubs, which play a critical role in the infrastructure of the Pfizer DS2 project. Additionally, Castle Group irresponsible for the design, manufacture, and installation, including connection design of secondary steelwork, including goalposts, as well as Gyproc partitions and ceilings, with taping and jointing. This part of the project is still ongoing and is expected to complete in early 2025.

Our Approach

By using BIM software, the design team was able to coordinate multi-disciplinary services in a federated model with various other consultants in and outside Castle Group. The design was detailed to LOD400 (level of detail) which allowed us to align all services pre-delivery and ensure a smooth installation process on site. The federated model was also used to coordinate services, openings and steelwork that are being installed by our fit-out team
